Pampered on a hippie's budget
Pampered doesn't mean expensive, and it definitely doesn't mean fussy. I'm Kristin — a feral housewife and mom to 5 boys with dirt under my nails, a starter on the shelf, and a four-year-old inflatable hot tub that still holds heat, to pamper myself in. The kitchen is the heart of this home. The garden rules early mornings & sunsets. And the rest of the day is homeschooling my last teenager, and the family life that goes with it.
Everything on this site is something I actually own, bought with my own money and used long enough to know where it gives out.
You won't find a styled kitchen here. You'll find flour on the counter, a sourdough book that lives open at page 168, and a short list of things that do the job without asking much of you.
Start wherever you're curious — or wherever you're stuck:
- Bread gear — where this site runs deepest, and where most people land first.
- Garden favorites — tools and supplies that maintain my morning and evening sanctuary.
- Pampering products — my favorite me-time items that earn their keep.
Evenings end up in that hot tub with my husband — which is all a good evening ever really needs.
Honest, lived-in, and nothing here you can't afford.
