KitchenAid 7-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer
This is as big as a home mixer gets without stepping into commercial. A 7-quart bowl means double batches do not climb the hook or spill over the rim
Buy NowWhy it earns its place
Sandwich loaves, rolls, pizza dough, enriched dough — anything that wants gluten worked in — goes on the dough hook, low speed, and I walk away.
How I actually use it
Dough hook. Lowest setting. Flour in the bowl, liquids in, hook down, and I let it knead until the dough clears the sides and looks smooth. I do not use it for the sourdough country loaves. Those stay on the counter for stretch and fold. If I am mixing two loaves of anything kneaded, this is the only bowl in the house that does not feel tight.

What to know before you buy
It is heavy and awkward to lift. Plan on leaving it on the counter.
What else I considered
A tilt-head Artisan is lighter and cheaper, but the bowl runs out of room on a double batch. I would rather lift this once and never worry about space
